full service floozy (daily prompt)

colorful clothing is a costume

a distraction

if anyone cared enough to ask her

her hearty laughter is an excuse to cry

she is getting used to being neglected

just a pit stop

not a person.

matching bangles and tiny trinkets tinkle

wrinkles around her eyes longing to be laugh lines

instead are smudged rainbow eye shadow paths

the award for best actress in an unwanted role goes to…

that flamenco bitch

switchin her hips

flippin her skirt higher than her thighs and morals.

this will be the last time she allows him to enter

free his mind under her psychedelic dress or in her perfectly painted

now sculpted into a smile

eyes forced blind

body laid in a queen bed casket without judgment

she is dead

There’s a saying, those who laugh the brightest are often the ones who also cry the hardest, A painful yet from what I understand is also the truth 😦
